COOKIE POLICY

Effective date: 6 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Gentle Life Trading - FZCO, trading as Damareos ("Damareos", "we", "us" or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on damareos.com and shop.damareos.com. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

1. WHAT COOKIES ARE

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to work, remember your choices and understand how visitors use it.

We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and tags. These are small pieces of code that tell a platform like Google, Meta or Pinterest that a page was visited or an action was taken. In this policy, we refer to all of these as "cookies".

Some cookies are set by Damareos. Others are set by third parties, such as Google, Meta and Pinterest, whose services we use on our website.

2. HOW COOKIES WORK

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner asks you to choose which cookies you accept.

• Strictly necessary cookies are always active, because the website cannot work properly without them.
• Analytics cookies and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them. If you decline or close the banner without choosing, they stay off.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer of any page.

3. THE COOKIES WE USE

The list below lists the main cookies used on our website. Durations are the maximum time a cookie stays on your device unless you delete it sooner. Third-party providers may change their cookies from time to time.

Strictly necessary

• Cookie consent (Damareos): remembers the cookie choices you made in our banner. Lasts 12 months.
• Site cookies (Showit): let our website load, display and work properly. Last from the end of your visit up to 12 months.

Analytics

• _ga (Google Analytics): tells unique visitors apart so we can count them. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_[ID] (Google Analytics): keeps track of your visit and the pages you view. Lasts 2 years.

Advertising

• _fbp (Meta): measures visits from Meta ads and builds advertising audiences. Lasts 90 days.
• fr (Meta): delivers and measures Meta advertising. Lasts 90 days.
• _pin_unauth (Pinterest): measures visits from Pinterest ads. Lasts 12 months.
• _pinterest_ct_ua (Pinterest): links visits to Pinterest ad clicks. Lasts 12 months.
• _derived_epik (Pinterest): measures conversions from Pinterest ads. Lasts 12 months.

Strictly necessary cookies make the website work. They don't collect information for marketing and can't be switched off in our banner.

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors find and use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how long people stay. We use this to improve the website.

Advertising cookies help us understand whether our ads on Meta and Pinterest lead to visits, inquiries or bookings. They may also be used to show Damareos ads to people who have visited our website.

4. EMBEDDED CONTENT AND LINKED SERVICES

Some pages link to or embed services run by other companies, such as Calendly for bookings, Dubsado for inquiries, Stripe for payments and Shopify for our online shop. When you use these services, they may set their own cookies under their own cookie and privacy policies.

5. MANAGING YOUR CHOICES

You can manage cookies in three ways:

• Our cookie settings. Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies at any time.
• Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of our website from working.
• Platform settings. You can manage ad preferences directly in your Google, Meta and Pinterest account settings. Google also offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.

If you withdraw consent, we stop setting those cookies from that point. Cookies already on your device stay there until they expire or you delete them in your browser.

6. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove or change the technologies we use. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
